Adeline (1884–1959) - Augusta (1889–1949)
Augusta and Adeline Van Buren were two sisters who dared to challenge societal expectations and break the rules in the early 1900s. In 1916, they rode their motorcycles from New York to San Francisco, becoming the first woman to cross the continental United States on two wheels. They did this to prove that women were capable of endurig long-distance rides and to support the women's suffrage movement. Their bravery and daring to go against societal norms continue to inspire women today to follow their dreams and push beyond limitations.

Start by taping a paper sheets to a flat surface, then outline the perimeter of each foot. Make sure the pen is 90° from the sheet of paper at all times.

Once both feet have been outlined, draw four lines on the widest part of each side.

Draw a straight line from the highest part of the thumb to the heel, this will be M1. Then, draw a straight line across the widest parts of the foot, this will be M2.

Now measure with a ruler to get the height (M1) and width (M2).
