We build our footwear to last, but sometimes you have to make them look their best for that special ride. Just follow these simple steps to clean and restore your leather shoes to their best!
Always handle leather with clean hands - oil and residue will easily transfer to leather.
1. REMOVE SHOE TIES (IF ANY)
If necessary, clean shoe ties separately in a bowl with cold water and liquid detergent for dark fabrics.
2. IF YOUR LEATHER GETS WET, DRY IT.
Gently blot (not rub!) excess as soon as possible, and allow the rest to air dry. Do not use a heat source to speed up the drying.
3. REMOVE DIRT
Once dry, remove big chunks of dirt using a wooden stick or an emery board. Remove dirt buildup by wiping down your leather bag with a cleaner made specifically for leather, you can use NOMBRE DEL LIMPIADOR UL. Apply in a circular motion, and wipe off with a slightly damp cloth to avoid clogging the pores of the leather.
CONDITION DRY LEATHER
If your leather gets too dry, massage a high-quality leather conditioner, you can use NOMBRE DEL ACONDICIONADOR UL into the leather and use a clean cloth to gently wipe off excess.
Store leather in a space away from heat, humidity, sunlight, and dust – preferably in a fabric (not plastic!) bag and/or box.
When you care for your shoes properly, they will become weathered, rugged, and interesting over time, echoing its adventures on the road.
