There are various magnificent routes around the United States to enjoy a long and uninterrupted ride where you can find hills, dips, twists, and turns on the asphalt. We have selected 5 of the best roads in America for you to plan a trip and relax in the company of your bike on the open way.

Beartooth Highway

1. Beartooth Highway

    Located in Montana and Wyoming, this is the highest paved road in the northern Rocky Mountains. The Beartooth Highway will allow you to enjoy a remote smooth ride, incredible views, and unique landscapes. Make sure you plan your journey between Spring and Autumn since this road is closed several months of the year due to freezing conditions or heavy snowfall. The distance you cover is 68.0 miles in which you can pull to take pictures.

    Cherohala Skyway

    The Cherohala Skyway is a broad, paved 2-laned road located in southeast Tennessee and southwest North Carolina; it is one of most popular National Scenic Byways in North America. This road is about 40+ miles long, full of breathtaking views on every curve. Over the ride, you´ll find little places to eat, local art centers, antiques, and even a bakery. At the end of the Skyway, you´ve got many options: You can turn left to ride the Dragon, or turn right to go into Robbinsville or ride the Skyway again back to Tellico Plains.

    Yes! There are a few different roads and routes around the National Monument that suits every type of rider. Located in Utah, at the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument you´ll enjoy unbelievable views so make sure you bring a camera with plenty of memory space. You can expect plenty of open road with hills, woods, and canyons so make sure you prepare yourself and your motorcycle to ride few glorious miles.

    Needles Highway

      This 3.5-hour road is considered the most popular ride from the Black Hills area. Covering 17 miles long on the Needles Highway you´ll find switchbacks, tight curves, and pigtails all while climbing and descending almost 2,000 ft. While running through Custer State Park, if lucky, you´ll see the “buffalo roam.” The best thing about this ride is the breathtaking needles (spires) that will make you feel like heaven.

      Pig Trail Scenic Byway

      5. Pig Trail Scenic Byway

      Located in Arkansas, the Pig Trail was named the top motorcycle ride in the United States by USA Today Readers’ Choice poll. This road stretches for 19 miles along Arkansas State Route through Ozark National Forest in which you can experience a serene ride which isn´t so challenging, but it is not boring at all!
